Founded in 1993, Amici tested electric equipment with their products and recipes at Georgia Power’s Customer Resource Center in 2019 to discover that electric had faster cook recovery times, made cleaning easier (unlike gas equipment connected to flues, electric equipment is lighter and also simply unplugs to pull away from walls when cleaned), cooked food quickly with consistent quality, and had no issues around checking pilot lights or monitoring for gas leaks.   Employees enjoyed the cooler kitchens with less heat from electric and the good temperature control.

Air conditioning expense costs go down with a cooler kitchen leading to happy cooks. Equipment holds up better than previous open flame gas griddles and fryers leading to less maintenance expense and greater up time.  Cleaning time went down with less grease buildup and corrosion on important equipment connections.
